研究テーマ

事前の情報が乏しいときに用いる無情報事前分布（参照事前分布，ジェフリーズ事前分布）の下で，予測の観点から最適なベイズ推定量を導き，少ない標本での性質を調べる．von Mises 分布，ワイブル分布，ガンマ分布，極値分布，Birnbaum–Saunders 分布などを扱う．

製品の寿命を，温度や電圧などのストレスを高めた試験や，劣化の進み方のデータから推測する．蓄積疲労モデル，複数のストレスを扱うワイブルモデル，Wiener 過程や逆ガウス過程による劣化モデルと，それらのベイズ推定や最適な試験計画を研究している．
